Pricing

I am currently charging $250/hr for services with a minimum $250 per invoice (so if we work for less than an hour within a 2-week period it’s just a straight $250).

The items and prices below are rough estimates to give you ideas of what kind of services I provide and ballpark estimates for those services. If we work together, I’ll provide a consulting agreement with a statement of work (SOW) that includes a more-accurate estimate based on your company’s exact needs.

All prices are in United States dollars (USD).

Training

Online Training – $250+

In-Person Training – $5,000+

This can be a one-off session to teach a particular aspect of MyGeotab to your fleet managers over a lunch-and-learn, several sessions to teach multiple shifts of drivers how to use the Geotab Drive app, in-depth training to get your telematics expert up-to-speed on all things Geotab after switching from another telematics provider, etc.

Pricing is for standard MyGeotab software.

Reach out for an exact quote, as the pricing is dependent on a number of factors such as the amount of hours or days you require, the complexity of the topic(s) covered, and how many participants requiring training.

Reports

Basic Reports – $250+/report

This service includes things like adjustments to existing reports, such as adding logos, rearranging preexisting data to display information more intuitively, and setting up basic reports within your database.

Advanced Reports – $250+/report

This would be for reports that require customization, such as custom formulas or additional charts, pivot tables, etc.

Developed Reports – TBD

I do not currently offer reports that require external development. However, feel free to reach out as I know some developers in the industry and would be happy to make a recommendation whenever possible.

New Databases

New Database Setup Guidance – $500+ (under 50 assets), Email for a Quote (over 50 assets)

Setting up your database correctly in the beginning is the best way to make sure you’re getting the most out of your data from the start.

I can guide you through the basics of setting up:

  • Assets
  • Users
  • Groups
  • Rules
  • Reports
  • Notifications
  • Distribution Lists
  • And much more

Taking the time to set up your database well in the beginning can save you a lot of time and money in the future. I have helped customers set up their databases for years and use best-practices that I have learned after observing what works, what doesn’t, and how to avoid common pitfalls when starting out with Geotab telematics.

Existing Databases

Basic Database Audit (up to 50 assets) – $250+ (non-ELD), $350+ (ELD)

Advanced Database Audit (50+ assets) – $350+ (non-ELD), $500+ (ELD)

This includes an audit of your existing database and written report with suggestions for improvements. I will include a quote for what it would cost to have me assist with these improvements as well as suggestions on where to find resources for you or your personnel to make the changes on your own.

Audits include examination of your current setup of the following items:

  • Assets (vehicles & trailers)
  • Users
  • Exception Rules
  • Groups
  • Zones
  • Reports

If you have aspects of your database that are more important than others, I can likely tailor audits to focus more heavily on those items.
